Two Names • One Heritage Lineage

L.M. Carpets × Rug Passport

L.M. Carpets (The Loom Atelier)

Founded in 1990 in Bhadohi, L.M. Carpets provides the legal, loom-floor, and master artisan foundation. Generations of weaver families work under fair-loom standards, knotting masterworks on high-tension upright looms.

Rug Passport (The Heritage Studio)

The modern curatorial house bringing loom mastery to private collectors worldwide — pairing fine textiles with 400x microscopic weave verification and permanent cryptographic provenance records.

Every Rug Passport masterwork is woven, warranted, and registered directly through L.M. Carpets Atelier.

The Weavers

Honoring Named Artisans

We believe master weavers should never be anonymous. Every Rug Passport carpet records the master artisan's name, guild lineage, and creation duration in the permanent ledger.

“The carpet is the artwork; the master artisan is forever woven into its story.”
Botanical Dyes & Fleece

100% Organic Materials

We use pure renewable fibres: hand-spun Himalayan sheep wool, New Zealand carded wool, and Mulberry silk. Yarns are pot-dyed in small batches using madder root, walnut shells, indigo leaves, and pomegranate rinds.
